A Day at the Races

I was asked to sketch up a chalk mural at BWM advertising agency. The wall space was roughly 8m in width and 3m in height. All up it took around 4 hours to finish.

Gamera Print

Exercising that design bug

Some ideas i had based around the theme of high fashion combined with the Low Brow. Think Alexander Wang meets normal Wang (an Asian boy who loves manga). Alot of fun to do.

I also drew an illustration for a WUD short story which can be found here.

BIGϟBAD

A villain’s equivalent of a megazord. Click for a larger view.

On another note has anyone else noticed that Cell is the silkiest villian ever designed?
Lime green all over print? game over.

2039

Some new new of that upcoming apocalyptic future

Space Death 33

human>black goo>kaiju>stomach alien>death>zombie? in that order

The World Watcher

One of the first organic beings ever created, this guy can be found quietly scanning the world from the clouds above. He creates order in the world fighting off incoming dangers aswell as restoring balance by materializing animals and nature from his consciousness when needed. Or something like that…

In other news Quake 3 is on flash!

its kinda dodgy and takes ages to load but it exists nonetheless and that blows my mind, truly closer to that Prometheus promised future.

Bundle Up

Ive changed my socks like 20 times this week and its only Wednesday, what’s going on  with this weather? On the positive side being washed in at home forces you to do more work.

more kaiju, more eyes

$$$$

So I saw Prometheus and left confused. I mean the graphics and design were second to none and there was enough meat there to geek out on, but alot of open ended questions and pointless characters. Good to see big budget Geiger stuff on screen once again though especially the full space jockey armour. Magneto killed it as usual.
On a similar note be sure to check out Sunshine if you haven’t seen it already. A personal favourite from a few years back, it is also a good example of a modern sci-fi done right (the first half at least) and I think many slept on it.

Zombie Bass

Was asked to do a few poster treatments for Melbourne electro DJ/Producer Zombie Bass to go along with the logo I designed earlier. Pretty clean and straight forward, the poster was to focus on his signature mask that he wears while he performs.

Gloomy long weekend, keep it silky!
